Ben is a proud Hamiltonian and calls Ward 14 (Westcliffe) home, along with his wife and son (who just started Grade 3!).

He has spent 15 years working in environmental science and public safety leadership roles at Conservation Authorities across Ontario. His current role, as the Manager of Flood Forecasting and Operations at Conservation Halton, involves looking after hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Flood Control Infrastructure that keeps the public safe.

He has spent the last four years on the School Council at Chedoke Elementary becoming deeply invested in the school community.

His lifelong love of education is due in large part to his Mother and Grandmother who both spent their careers as teachers and instilled a love of learning in him.
